Manifold Rebuild

 

Here is our only broken part, the LH exhaust manifold. The broken pieces are V grooved for the weld. The small missing piece is fabricated to fill the void. All the welds are then ground smooth to complete the repair before undergoing the refinishing process.
After welding, grinding and filling, the repaired manifold, as all the painted engine components, receives a light primer coat of Evercoat Finish Sand, a high speed Polyester primer surfacer, and final sanded. The part is masked and the white is shot, then masked again for the final coating of Chevy engine Orange.
